The last weekend in August is traditionally known as the biggest race weekend for Pro Stock Racing in New England. Wiscasset Speedway was no exception from this rule this past weekend as they hosted a full Group 1 race program, highlighted by a 50-lap race for the Norm’s Used Cars Pro Stocks.
Barre, VT — After two Saturday night showdowns in a row for the American-Canadian Tour title chasers, their three-in-a-row stretch comes to an end this Sunday afternoon, September 3rd for the 45th running of the Labor Day Classic 200 presented by New England Federal Credit Union. The ACT Tour returns home to Thunder Road International Speedbowl for the fan-favorite event just as the title chase begins to come down to the wire with the point standings tight as a drum.
Labor Day weekend is quickly approaching and that can only mean one thing: The Boss Hogg 150 is making its return to Wiscasset Speedway! The annual event, which made its debut back in 1991, is the biggest Super Late Model race of the season at the famed track. Once again, this year’s event is presented by Bath Iron Works/General Dynamics and will feature not one, but two action-packed days of racing on both Saturday, September 2nd and Sunday, September 3rd.
