Oxford, ME — Sunday started off with many racers in doubt. Mists, both heavy and light, started the day at Oxford Plains Speedway as racers went through the preparation paces for the Pine Tree State 125. Being the Maine home for the American-Canadian Tour, the pits were filled with contenders, each eager to make their stake in the Tour’s long history at the venerable Vacationland oval.

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Open Modified cars returned to Stafford Motor Speedway for their fourth of five visits of the 2023 season on Friday, June 7th for the GAF Roofing Open 80. Woody Pitkat started up front and ran among the top-2 or top-3 cars all night long but he had to hold off a strong challenge over the final 10 laps of the race from George Bessette, Jr. in order to take the checkered flag. Kicking off six consecutive Thursday nights of prime time racing action, the Superstar Racing Experience (SRX) Series makes its debut on ESPN on Thursday, July 13, at 9 p.m. ET, bringing “Thursday Night Thunder” back to ESPN.
