Weather Pushes Back Thompson Icebreaker Weekend to April 7th and 8th

Thompson, CT — After this weekend’s poor forecast has continued to remain gloomy, American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) officials have made the difficult decision to postpone the 49th Icebreaker Weekend at Thompson Speedway one week. Now set for Friday April 7th and Saturday April 8th, the revamped schedule will continue the same divisions as previously announced, simply postponed one week due to the extremely wet forecast expected to hit the northeast corner of Connecticut this weekend.

Weston Automotive Back as World Series Sunoco Modified Triple Crown Sponsor

Barre, VT and Naples, ME —Officials from the American Canadian Tour (ACT) and the Pro All Star Series (PASS) are very pleased to announce that Weston Automotive has signed on to bring back the Triple Crown Series for the Sunoco Modifieds as a part of the 60th annual Sunoco World Series presented by Budweiser. The Weston Automotive Triple Crown Series for the Sunoco Modifieds was introduced at the 59th World Series and will return for a second edition.

Outlaw Open Entries Released for First Two Thompson Speedway Wednesday Shows

Waterbury, VT and Naples, ME — American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) have released the entry forms for the next two Outlaw Open Modified Series events at Connecticut’s Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park. The Nutmeg State 75 on Wednesday, June 16 and the Spirit of 76 on Wednesday, July 7 are part of a six-division card for the track’s 82^nd summer of racing.

Acton, MA (May 4, 2021): On Friday night, April 30, Matt Swanson of Acton, MA, earned his first career NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour pole award during qualifying for the prestigious Spring Sizzler. Swanson, driver of the famed Ole Blue for Mike Boehler Racing Enterprises of E.
