Chris Pasteryak Coming Back To Chase Tri Track Open Modified Series Title in 2021
SEEKONK, Mass. — After a few years of traveling competing with his Modified, veteran racer Chris Pasteryak is primed to return home to full-time racing with the Tri Track Open Modified Series presented by All Phases Renovations this season. The Lisbon, Connecticut, driver will compete in his family-owned No. 75, returning in hopes of winning and contending for the championship.
Pasteryak’s season will also include the six Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park Outlaw Open Modified Series events and the four Stafford Motor Speedway Open Modified Series races — making up a busy schedule. (more…)

Chris Meyer Has Eyes Set on Championship Run in Stafford’s Street Stocks
Chris Meyer came to Stafford Speedway last year with 10+ years of experience driving a Street Stock but the 2020 season was his first campaign at the Connecticut half-mile facility. Meyer’s lack of Stafford experience never showed though as he finished second in his first start and went on to win 2 races and finished 2nd in the final points standings. With a season’s worth of experience under his belt, Meyer and the #87 D & L Services team have a wave of confidence heading into the 2021 season. (more…)
Outlaw Entry Lists Loading up for Icebreaker and Thompson 300
Waterbury, VT — The Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park oval is shaping up as the place to watch the biggest stars of Tour-Type Modified Racing in 2021. Entry lists for both the Icebreaker 125 on April 10/11 and the return of the Thompson 300 on October 9/10 are already loaded with local, regional, and even national open-wheel racing headliners.
As the first and last events of the season at the historic Connecticut track, both the Icebreaker and the Thompson 300 are expected to be the year’s two greatest shows. (more…)
Matt Swanson Helping Steer “Ole Blue” Modified Tour Car Back To Top
After a red-hot finish to the 2019 Whelen Modified Tour season, Matt Swanson was pumped up.
The season had started slow for Swanson and the BRE Racing No. 3 team from E. Freetown with just one top-10 in the first five races.
Then, Swanson and the No. 3 team returned to form, finishing outside the top-10 just three times the rest of the season. (more…)
