(Stafford Springs, CT)—After a career best season in 2024 that saw him come agonizingly close to winning the Street Stock championship, Tyler Trott and the #80 JET Motorsports team are looking to expand their operation in 2025. Currently, Trott plans to moonlight in both the Street Stock and Late Model divisions after acquiring a Late Model car during the off-season while the team is looking to rent out their Street Stock cars. However these plans are subject to change.

Feature winners on the night included Todd Owen in the SK Modified® feature, Adam Gray in the Late Model feature, Tyler Chapman in the SK Light feature, RJ Surdell in the Limited Late Model feature, and Tyler Trott in the Street Stock feature. As part of Spear Bro’s Kids Night, there were two kids big wheel races and they were won by 7 year old Jordan Dion of Canton and 5 year old Jack Webber of Longmeadow, MA. (more…)
(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway hosted AZ Roofing Kids Night on Friday, May 31st, the first of three kids nights scheduled for the 2024 season. It was a night of first-time 2024 winners with Marcello Rufrano taking the SK Modified® feature, Paul Varricchio, Jr. the Late Model feature, Nickolas Hovey the SK Light feature, Kyle Theriault the Limited Late Model feature, and Tyler Trott the Street Stock feature. (Stafford Springs, CT)—Friday night, June 24, will see Stafford Speedway’s Street Stock division take center stage with their biggest race of the 2022 season, the Midstate Site Development Street Stock Firecracker 30. The JET Motorsports duo of Bert Ouellette in the #51 JET Electric Chevrolet and Tyler Trott in the #80 JHS Roofing Chevrolet have recorded top-10 finishes in all but one race thus far in the 2022 season and they both have their eyes set on winning the biggest Street Stock race of the season.
