Glen Reen Wins Call Before You Dig Open 81 At Stafford Speedway

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Open Modified cars returned to Stafford Motor Speedway for their second of five visits of the 2023 season on Friday, May 19th for the Call Before You Dig Open 81. Feature races were held for the American Canadian Tour, Limited Late Models, and Street Stocks along with two 40-lap NAPA Duel races that set the top-20 lineup for Saturday’s 100-lap NAPA Spring Sizzler® main event.

Shaw Fights Field, Cautions to Take First Stafford ACT Event Since 1985

Stafford Springs, CT — The American-Canadian Tour broke a 38-year drought by entering the Stafford Motor Speedway complex on Friday, the first time the series had raced the iconic 1/2-mile since 1985. Thirty-four teams from across New England and Quebec made the trip to kick off the Brookside Equipment Sales Southern New England Triple Crown and, for many, take their first laps at the Connecticut oval.
