Rising star James Egozi has been added to the Formula 1 World Champion’s Junior Driver roster as he joins the prestigious Red Bull Junior Team.
At just 16 years old, the young American will be competing with the renowned Spanish Formula Team, Campos Racing, based in Valencia for the 2024 Season. The combination sets the tone for thrilling performances across Europe. James’ rigorous training includes sessions at the state-of-the-art Red Bull Campus in Milton Keynes, England, and simulator hours at the Wave Italy Training Center in Verona, Italy.
– Top F4 finishes of 2023 – notable performances in the Formula 4 Italian Championship at Red Bull Ring, Circuit Paul Ricard, and Vallelunga Circuit navigating the high-speed, challenging circuits, and securing P1, P5, and P7 finishes, respectively.
– Routine for success – which includes managing online schooling, extensive hours in the gym, working with a mental coach, simulation hours, and analyzing track data reports, all for optimal readiness for his debut with Campos as a Red Bull Junior Driver in 2024.
