We are just under one week away from event #3 on the ASA STARS National Tour schedule. The Thursday, May 23 event is set for Hickory Motor Speedway in Newton, NC and will feature some of the best asphalt Super Late Model drivers in the country.
The tour also had an appearance during its inaugural season in 2023 with Gio Ruggiero pulling off a bump and run in the final corner to sneak past NASCAR competitor Wiliam Byron for the win. (highlight footage of pass and more at link below)
This year’s event is also expected to have some NASCAR names in action as Chase Elliott and Josh Berry have already entered. Other names are expected soon as well. In addition, the Legend car division will feature at least two sons of NASCAR drivers as Kevin Harvick’s son, Keelan, and Jamie McMurray’s son, Carter, are already entered.
