Monterey, CA, August 2, 2024 – Luxury in motion, for everyone. The Monterey Motorsports Festival (MMF) shifts into gear for year two at Monterey Car Week with a schedule designed to offer an unforgettable experience for adults, teens and children.
Set against the stunning backdrop of the Monterey County Fairgrounds, California, and taking place on August 17, 2024 from 2 p.m.-10 p.m., this premier event stands out among storied Monterey Car Week traditions: while it brings together a breathtaking array of classic and contemporary automobiles, this year’s festival also features new technology vehicles (solar and electric), e-bikes, ATVs, motorcycles and off-road/ATV vehicles. And while most Monterey Car Week events are display-only, MMF’s unique approach is centered around vehicles in motion. It’s also “Made in Italy,” thanks to a historical partnership between MMF and ASI, the Automotoclub Storico Italiano.
Paolo Manca, MMF founder and CEO, comments: “The Monterey Motorsports Festival has evolved with a richer program for year two. We solidified important international partnerships, have all the best models from the most sought-after car brands, and are honored to be joined by some of the automotive world’s most distinguished VIP guests and speakers. To quote Enzo Ferrari: ‘The only way to be ahead of the competition is to be different.’”
Buckle up: What to expect at the MMF
From modern supercars to classic jewels, the MMF will feature a spectacular variety of exotic, classic and racecars on display alongside newer technology—such as luxury electric cars—and even areas dedicated to two-wheel and off-road vehicles. Attendees will be immersed in a celebration of automotive history and innovation, from exclusive ride-and-drives to in-depth seminars with industry legends. The festival provides a unique opportunity to witness rare and collectible vehicles up close, while enjoying world-class entertainment and networking with fellow enthusiasts. For passionate car aficionados—or anyone seeking a memorable day out with the family—the Monterey Motorsports Festival promises to be a revved-up experience with high-octane thrills and cultural enrichment.

Alberto Scuro, ASI president, adds: “ASI has, among its missions, the promotion of historic motorism and Made in Italy also abroad, where there are many fans of our brands and our history. ASI will lend its support to encourage the presence of prestigious cars and personalities of Italian historic motoring at the MMF, which in turn will become a showcase for Made in Italy historic motoring.”
