GREENVILLE, S.C. (September 6, 2024) – The Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame has announced that JACKSON’s Nate Hunt has been appointed to serve on the ORMHOF Board of Directors. Hunt, Motorsports Race Operations Director for JACKSON, will be joining off-road historian Jim Bramham and Rebelle Rally founder Emily Miller as new members on ORMHOF’s board of directors.
“Each of these individuals is highly accomplished in their area of expertise as it relates to off-road,” said ORMHOF chairman Mark McMillin, “and we are fortunate that they have agreed to share their time and knowledge to benefit the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame.”
The Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame seeks to educate and inspire present and future generations of the off-road community by celebrating the achievements of those who laid the foundation. For nearly 50 years, the hall of fame has honored individuals and organizations who have been instrumental in the development and success of off-road racing.
“I’m truly excited to help grow such an important part of the off-road community,” said Hunt. “ORMHOF is such a key group as they capture history, promote current efforts and invest in the future of off-road motorsports.”
Hunt’s passion for desert racing began when he attended his first off-road race nearly two decades ago. Since then, he has learned from some of the top names in the industry, eventually taking over leadership of JACKSON’s off-road motorsports activities. In his current role, much of his time is spent supporting BFGoodrich Tires’ off-road motorsports activities, where he and the JACKSON team provide a combination of strategy, marketing, VIP hosting, logistics, product sales and pit support. He also works closely with SCORE International, the premier sanctioning body in the sport of off-road desert racing, plus provides leadership support for JACKSON’s satellite office near San Diego.
“JACKSON has been a partner of the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame since 2011, helping to support their efforts to promote and preserve the sport of off-road racing,” said JACKSON President and CEO Darrell Jackson. “We are thrilled that they are adding Nate to their board of directors, and we know that his passion and expertise will be invaluable.”
