Artcurial Motorcars is delighted to announce its return to the Rétromobile Salon for three exceptional auction days on 7th, 8th, and 9th February 2025. Once again, this partnership, part of the 49th edition of this unmissable global event dedicated to classic cars, promises to captivate enthusiasts and collectors from around the world.

Visitors will have the opportunity to admire a stunning
collection of five Ferraris, brought together by a devoted enthusiast of the legendary Maranello brand. Each of these five cars, all certified by Ferrari Classiche, has been carefully selected for its exceptional originality or flawless restoration:
• 1963 Ferrari 250 GT Lusso
•  1966 Ferrari 275 GTB, fully restored
•  1972 Ferrari 365 GTC/4
•  1973 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona
•  2001 Ferrari 550 Barchetta, with less than 950 km on the clock. This rare collection showcases the elegance of three generations of Ferraris, all adorned in the iconic silver
grey colour.

Additionally, from the André Cadiou Estate—belonging to the Sarthe-born gentleman driver—several automotive treasures will be auctioned, including:
• A 1966 Ferrari 275 GTB Long Nose, one of only 93 examples produced with an aluminium body,
featuring impeccable provenance and renowned for its six participations in the Tour Auto and Targa
Florio Revival.
•  A Porsche 2.7 RS Touring, still in its desirable original «Blood Orange» livery.
•  A Ferrari 365 GT4 BB, freshly restored.
•  The penultimate example of the 100 Alpine V6 Turbo Mille Milles ever produced.

Exceptional vehicles among the headline lots
• A 1916 Simplex Crane Model 5, powered by a 9.25-litre 6-cylinder engine capable of reaching 130 km/h. Remarkable for its advanced engineering for the era, it was restored in England during the 1990s and has recently undergone €40,000 worth of work to ensure flawless and enjoyable operation.

•  A 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL «Gullwing», originally delivered new to South Carolina and owned by its current French owner for nearly 15 years. After its acquisition, the car was entrusted to Mercedes-Benz Classic in Stains for a comprehensive overhaul. Now finished in black with beautifully patinated red leather upholstery, this 300SL is regularly driven and performs  exceptionally well. It retains its original engine and comes with two custom black suitcases designed to fit perfectly on the rear shelf.

On Saturday, 8th February 2025, motorcycle enthusiasts will have the rare opportunity to acquire pieces from the collection of Umberto Panini, the renowned industrialist and motorcycle collector. This diverse selection, curated with the discerning eye of a true connoisseur, features historic and iconic models from various eras.

On Sunday, 9th February, Retromobile will conclude with the Racing, Flying & Yachting auction, showcasing a wide selection of items from the world of motorsport, including Formula 1 memorabilia, drawings, posters,  sculptures, and spare parts. An exceptional collection of around fifty 1/12 scale models will also be on display, illustrating the history of Scuderia Ferrari from the 1950s to the 2000s.
