Rigon, Molina and Newbauer Will Join Costa Behind the Wheel at the 2025 Season Opener
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – DragonSpeed announced today that it has completed its driver lineup for the No. 81 Ferrari 296 GT3 that will compete in next month’s Rolex 24 At Daytona, as well as a technical alliance with a team familiar to the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
Ferrari drivers Davide Rigon, Miguel Molina and Thomas Neubauer will join the previously announced Albert Costa for the Rolex 24 on January 25-26. Their collective resume includes GT and prototype victories at Daytona and Le Mans as well as other prestigious sports car events.
Already a three-time winner of the Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2) class at the Rolex 24, DragonSpeed’s efforts in its first full season of IMSA GT competition will be bolstered by a technical alliance with perennial Ferrari North American racing champions Risi Competizione. Giuseppe Risi’s team will contribute key resources in support of the DragonSpeed entry.
For a 12th season, Henrik Hedman’s 10Star brand will provide primary backing for the DragonSpeed campaign, continuing one of sports car racing’s most durable partnerships and returning to Hedman’s own roots as a driver in Ferrari Challenge and GT3 racing. The No. 81 machine will retain the team’s established stars-in-stripes livery with new touches celebrating its renewed association with Ferrari.
