Jeddah, 27 November 2025 – Portuguese international Danilo Pereira was an official guest of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) as the series celebrated its historic debut in Saudi Arabia.
European champion with Portugal in 2016 and a key player for Al-Ittihad — where he has already won the Saudi League and the King’s Cup — Danilo enjoyed an exclusive co-driving experience at WRC Saudi Arabia alongside Estonia’s Ott Tänak, the 2019 World Rally Champion, who is preparing for his farewell to the sport at the end of the season.
“I loved it. I had so much fun. I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited in my life. I wasn’t expecting this kind of thrill — it was all very intense. Ott was incredible, and it was a privilege to be in the car with a WRC world champion,” Danilo Pereira said after the experience.
During the activation, Danilo presented the driver with an official Al-Ittihad jersey, and in return received a souvenir from Tänak and from the WRC organisation.
