Here it is (already) — the moment you’ve all been waiting for!  The 2026 Dakar route announcement.

This Thursday, November 13 at 6:30 p.m. (french time), watch the official unveiling of the Dakar route.

And while you wait, take one last look back at the end of the 2025 season!

Heading for 2026

All eyes are already on January, when the Dakar will kick off the 5th season of the W2RC.  See you in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, from January 3 to 17!

Save the date: the full route presentation is this Thursday, November 13 at 6:30 p.m.

ERC 2026 includes eight rounds, fresh storylines and a new look for Europe’s premier rally series.

ERC 2026 schedule announcedFive rounds on asphalt and three more on gravel will provide the challenge and spectacle following confirmation of a refreshed FIA European Rally Championship calendar for 2026.

The excitement-filled schedule includes new opening and deciding events, the return of two favourites from the recent and not-so-recent past, plus established and emerging rallies.

Jon Armstrong Scores Emotional Maiden ERC Win To Set Up Three-Way Title Decider

Jon Armstrong, ERC winner

Jon Armstrong claimed a maiden FIA European Rally Championship victory by winning JDS Machinery Rali Ceredigion to boost his outside title hopes.

Armstrong, co-driven by Shane Byrne, produced an impressive drive across 12 challenging Welsh asphalt stages, including a wet final two tests, to take the victory from M-Sport team-mate Romet Jürgenson by 29.2sec. The victory M-Sport’s first for in ERC since Adrien Fourmaux won Rally Islas Canarias in 2020.

Jan Kopecký fended off a challenge from Jon Armstrong to claim victory at Barum Czech Rally Zlín in round six of the FIA European Rally Championship.

Driving a Škoda Fabia RS Rally2, the 2013 ERC champion, co-driven by Jiří Hovorka, secured a stunning 12th Barum win after edging Armstrong by 10.7sec across 13 challenging asphalt stages.

Kurt Busch Backs WRC Return To USA After First Taste At Rally Finland

As reported by Tom Howard of Motorsport, NASCAR champion and Daytona 500 winner Kurt Busch believes the World Rally Championship (WRC) has the potential to crack America after receiving a taste of the series at Rally Finland.

WRCThe 2004 NASCAR Cup champion and 2017 Daytona 500 winner made the trip to Finland to experience the WRC for the first time. The 46-year-old has been a long-time admirer of rallying and in 2014 competed in the Monza Rally Show, driving an M-Sport-built Ford Fiesta RS WRC.

Brynildsen Crowned ERC King of Scandinavia With Thrilling Victory

Eyvind Brynildsen is a first-time winner in the FIA European Rally Championship after he came out on top of a thrilling battle for BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia glory on Saturday.

Armed with a Pirelli-equipped Toyota GR Yaris Rally2, Brynildsen triumphed by 4.9sec from Finn Roope Korhonen – the winner of the last round in Hungary – in an MRF-shod Yaris. Korhonen won the final Power Stage to snatch second away from local hero Isak Reiersen, who had been locked in an intense fight with Brynildsen throughout the weekend.
