Michael Maples Starting New Team For 2025, Adding Ryan Roulette To Driver Lineup

A new team will grace the ARCA Menards Series field in 2025, beginning with the season-opener on Feb. 15 at Daytona International Speedway (Noon ET on Fox).

Michael Maples announced Thursday his formation of the team, Maples Motorsports, which will see the Choctaw, Oklahoma native pilot his own No. 99 as the primary driver.

Jeremy Petty has been named Director of Competition for MMS.

Additionally, Ryan Roulette will race a second MMS entry on a part-time basis in 2025. Roulette, from Minot, North Dakota, will drive the No. 67 in his events, including the season-opener at Daytona.

Maples, 60, started all 20 ARCA Menards Series races last season in a Chevrolet owned by Andy Hillenburg.

Roulette, 38, has run 14 ARCA Menards Series races over the past three seasons, including 11 last year in Hillenburg’s No. 12 Ford.

MMS released the following statement Thursday announcing the formation of the team:

After a successful 2024 season, we at Maples Motorsports are proud to reveal the formation of a new team in the ARCA Menards Series for the 2025 season. Team owner Michael Maples is enthusiastic for the opportunity to be a part of the growth of this series and plans to race full time in the ARCA Menards Series during the 2025 season. He will be back behind the wheel in the No. 99 at Daytona International Speedway.

During this offseason, we have worked diligently to build this new team into a successful organization from the ground up; starting with bringing on talented individuals with a plethora of experience within the sport. People are our foundation and are key to building this organization into a staple within the series for years to come.

We are excited to announce the team’s Director of Competition as Jeremy Petty. Jeremy has been a crew chief in ARCA for the past several years with various organizations, and his knowledge, expertise and talents have consistently moved those organizations forward. As a driver himself previously in ARCA, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series, he brings a diverse skill set to the team.

We will also be bringing driver Ryan Roulette to fill our second seat on a part-time basis for the 2025 season. Ryan’s devotion to our country, and his talents both on and off the race track, make him the perfect match for where we are looking to take this organization in 2025. Ryan showcased his race craft during the 2024 season, and we look forward to leveraging his diverse skill set during the 2025 season. Ryan will kick off the season in the No. 67 at Daytona International Speedway with Michael.
