TEMPERANCE, Mich. – (November 12, 2024) – The ARCA Menards Series opens its 2025 season with a two-day Pre-Race Practice session at Daytona International Speedway on Thursday and Friday, January 9 and 10. A third day, Saturday, January 11, is reserved as a rain date.
The two-day session will be the prelude to the season-opening Daytona ARCA 200, the 62nd ARCA Menards Series race to be held at the legendary “World Center of Racing” since 1964.

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (Oct. 29, 2024) – Chris Hettinger, a longtime and winning Late Model team owner from Dryden, Michigan, has purchased the assets of Bret Holmes Racing. The organization will complete the 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series schedule with 2018 Truck Series champion Brett Moffitt under its new name, Hettinger Racing.
Hettinger is a second-generation racer whose father, Jim, raced open-wheel Midgets and Sprint Cars and won two championships in 1984 and 1990, accolades that earned him a spot in the National Midget Auto Racing Hall of Fame. Chris began his racing career behind the wheel, winning in Midgets and Late Models before becoming a fulltime team owner.
HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (October 21, 2024) – Joe Gibbs Racing announced today that William Sawalich will drive the team’s No. 18 Starkey / SoundGear Toyota GR Supra fulltime in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2025. Sawalich, who won the 2023 and 2024 ARCA Menards Series East championships driving for Joe Gibbs Racing, will make his Xfinity Series debut this weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
The 18-year-old Minnesota native has achieved remarkable success over the past two seasons in the ARCA Menards Series. Over the past two seasons, Sawalich has racked up 18 victories in 39 starts across ARCA’s three platforms – national, east, and west. He recently claimed his first NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series pole award at Talladega Superspeedway, one day after his 18th birthday.

Joe Gibbs Racing has announced the untimely death of Andy “Doggie” Nelson, who was part of their ARCA Menards Series team and a respected member of the NASCAR community.
According to a report from ARCA Racing, Nelson passed away peacefully in his sleep at just 39 years old.
In a heartfelt statement, JGR expressed their sorrow at the loss of Nelson, describing him as a “beloved member” of their team and the larger NASCAR garage. (more…)
After making her way through the ranks of dirt racing and stock car racing, Hailie Deegan will shift her focus to open-wheel racing in 2025, competing in INDY NXT by Firestone with HMD Motorsports.
Deegan will drive the No. 38 entry for the full 14-race calendar of INDY NXT, the INDYCAR development series. Deegan, 23, becomes the fifth confirmed driver for HMD Motorsports, joining teammates Caio Collet, Josh Pierson, Tommy Smith and Bryce Aron and will join her teammates at the Chris Griffis Memorial Test on Friday, Oct. 18 on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course. ROCKINGHAM, N.C. (October 10, 2024) – The historic Rockingham Speedway will welcome back the roar of NASCAR in 2025. Today, event promoter Track Enterprises announced the ARCA Menards Series East will join the NASCAR XFINITY and NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series on April 18-19, 2025.
The ARCA Menards Series East features established veterans and NASCAR’s next stars who compete primarily on the East Coast as a top-tiered development series owned by NASCAR. PLANO, Texas (Oct. 8, 2024) – For the eighth consecutive year, and the ninth time in its history, Toyota has been crowned the manufacturer’s champion of the ARCA Menards Series.
Toyota has had another exception season in the ARCA Menards Series, winning 14 of the 20 races in the 2024 season. This includes three instances where Toyota won three races in a row, at the start of the year from Daytona International Speedway to Talladega Superspeedway, in the late summer stretch from the Illinois State Fairgrounds at Springfield to the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds and to end the season from Bristol Motor Speedway to Toledo Speedway.
TOLEDO, Ohio — Before Saturday, in 71 previous seasons of competition for the ARCA Menards Series, every driver who hoisted the champion’s trophy originated from the United States.
On a perfect fall afternoon at Toledo Speedway, Mexico City’s Andres Perez capped a historic year that culminated with his becoming the first foreign-born champion in ARCA Menards Series history. After 19 grueling races across 18 different venues, the 2024 ARCA Menards Series season will conclude this weekend at Toledo Speedway.
Since hosting its first race for the ARCA Menards Series back in 1963, Toledo has occasionally served as the season finale date. Saturday’s Owens Corning 200 will be the fourth consecutive year the ARCA Menards Series championship has been decided at Toledo and the seventh time overall. (more…)
