On Saturday Alex Bowman won the Pocono Organics 325 with Joey Logano of Middletown, CT finishing seventh while Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT placed 26th and Corey LaJoie taking 36th. Corey is the son of two-time Xfinity Series Champion Randy Lajoie who grew up in Norwalk CT.
On Sunday Kyle Busch won that NASCAR Cup race with Ryan Preece taking eighth, Joey Logano was tenth, Corey LaJoie was 23rd while Anthony Alfredo ended up 34th.
John Hunter Nemechek won the CRC Brakleen 150 Truck Race at Pocono. Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT came in ninth.
