CLAREMONT – N.H. – Guy Caron stormed to victory Friday night at Claremont Motorsports Park, leading the last 29 laps to win the Mike Richardson Memorial main event in the Outlaw Late Models at the Thrasher Road speedplant.
Caron, the reigning Outlaw Late Model division champion, has run only selected races this summer at the third-mile oval but Friday shook the dust off to win the prestigious 50-;lap annual event.

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway returned to weekly racing action with the Late Model division taking center stage with their extra distance Paradiso Insurance Late Model 50 feature event on Friday night, September 5th. Chris Meyer was the big winner of the night by winning the Paradiso Insurance Late Model 50. Meyer had the car of Chris Buffone right behind him for roughly the final 35 laps and Buffone actually took the lead from Meyer coming to the white flag, but Meyer was able to retake the lead on the final lap and win the race. Other winners on the night were Mikey Flynn in the SK Modified® feature, Nickolas Hovey in the SK Light feature, Travis Hydar in the Limited Late Model feature, and Brent Gleason in the Street Stock feature.

Woodstock, NH — After watching the forecast get worse and worse in the latter half of the week, White Mountain Motorsports Park officials have made the difficult decision to cancel the planned racing program for Saturday, September 6. The decision was made Friday with traveling NELCAR teams in mind, Saturday’s event cannot be moved to Sunday as officials plan to support the Serie ACT Quebec Bacon Bowl 300 at Autodrome Chaudiere, another weather postponement for a bleakly forecasted Saturday.
There’s always so much to do at the Goodwood Revival, but in our eyes the best thing you can do is explore the perimeter of the Motor Circuit and enjoy a full day’s worth of historic racing action. The Sunoco Drive For The Cup kicks-off this weekend on both Fast Friday and NASCAR Saturday, with six drivers in each division racing for the championship. On top of those six title contenders, the rest of the field will be looking to capture the trophy and improve their points position heading for the stretch run.
