MOORESVILLE, N.C. (October 29, 2025) – Layne Riggs is set to return to the No. 34 Ford F-150 for Front Row Motorsports (FRM) in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS), signing a multi-year contract extension with the organization.
Currently in his second full-time NCTS season, the 23-year-old Bahama, North Carolina native has earned three wins, three poles, 12 top-five and 15 top-10 finishes this season. With this, Riggs made his first career playoff berth for the Truck Series, making it to the Round of 8 and barely missing out on the Championship Four by one point.
HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (October 29, 2025) – Joe Gibbs Racing announced today that William Sawalich will miss Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Phoenix Raceway after experiencing concussion-like symptoms following his accident at Talladega Superspeedway. In his absence, Justin Bonsignore will drive the No. 18 SoundGear Toyota GR Supra this weekend.
STAMFORD, Conn. – Oct. 28, 2025 – NBC Sports presents the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series Championship from Phoenix Raceway in Avondale, Ariz., this Sunday, Nov. 2, at 3 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock with a special edition of Countdown to Green beginning at 2 p.m. ET. Below are the Championship 4 drivers vying for the Cup Series title:
MOORESVILLE, N.C. (October 27, 2025) –Stefan Parsons will pilot Spire Motorsports No. 7 Chevrolet Silverado in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series season finale at Phoenix Raceway where Transportation Charter Services (TCS) will be showcased as the team’s primary sponsor.
The Cornelius, N.C., native is the son of former NASCAR Cup Series star and current FOX Sports broadcaster Phil Parsons and the nephew of the late Benny Parsons, the 1973 Cup Series champion. Stefan Parsons competes part-time in both the NASCAR Xfinity Series and CRAFTSMAN Truck Series.
TeamSLR Teen Driver Tristan McKee’s Historic TA2 Series Title the Result of Optimized Development Processes in Partnership with Chevrolet
ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. (Oct. 27, 2025) – When 15-year-old Tristan McKee was first across the finish line Sunday at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama, it put an exclamation point on much more than just his fourth win in the last six Cube 3 Architecture TA2 Series races to clinch the season-long driver championship with still one event to go.
NASCAR Cup Series teams will run a familiar Goodyear Racing Eagle tire setup at this weekend’s Championship Race, though it will mark the first time these tires have run at Phoenix Raceway.
After racing the prime and option tire setups at Phoenix in March, the Cup Series returns to a single tire specification for the season finale on the 1-mile dogleg oval. This tire setup has previously been used at several short tracks this year, most recently at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in September. The right-side tire also ran last weekend at Martinsville Speedway, paired with a new left-side tire.

MARTINSVILLE, Va.—With a heroic, gloves-off drive on Sunday in the crucible that is Martinsville Speedway, William Byron earned a shot at the NASCAR Cup Series title and simultaneously saved the rest of the Championship 4 field from its worst nightmare.
Byron led three times for 304 laps—a career best for a single race—and beat Ryan Blaney to the finish line by 0.717 seconds after a restart with 11 laps left to win the Xfinity 500 elimination race under most exigent circumstances.
A pair of Joe Gibbs Racing Toyotas and a pair of Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolets will vie for the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series championship next Sunday at Phoenix Raceway – the four-team title card settled in Sunday’s Xfinity 500 at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway which certainly delivered the drama – again – in deciding which four drivers earned the chance to race for the big trophy.
MOORESVILLE, N.C. (October 25,2025) – Sam Hunt Racing (SHR) announces today that the organization will expand to two full-time entries in 2026, both with full-time drivers. Dean Thompson, who broke multiple organizational records in his rookie NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) Season, will return to the No. 26 GR Supra. Harrison Burton, a NASCAR Cup Series winner and 2025 NXS playoff driver, will pilot the No. 24 GR Supra full-time.
