Barre, VT & Naples, ME — Delayed by six days, the 5th annual Northeast Classic at New Hampshire Motor Speedway is finally ready to get underway! Starting with annual Practice Day on Friday, April 18, full-on competition begins at 11:00am on Saturday, April 19 for New England’s most fearless drivers. Headlined by the powerhouse Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour and Pro All Stars Series Super Late Model duo, the Northeast Classic will also include the mighty Tour-type Modifieds, R&R Race Parts Open Street Stocks and the Pro Truck Challenge!

Rat Pack Racing Taps Richie Davidowitz As Driver To Chase 2025 Riverhead Raceway Crate Modified Championship

When the Eagle Chevrolet Crate Modifieds take to Riverhead Raceway for the May 3rd Pack the Track opening night 25-lap feature, there will be a new combination lined-up to chase the 2025 championship. Recently, Steve Ratti of Rat Pack Racing disclosed former Riverhead Crate Modified champion Richie Davidowitz of East Moriches as the team’s new driver. Davidowitz was the last driver not named Grennan to win the RCM crown in 2021.

New England Racers And Their Results From This Past Weekend’s Competition

Kyle Larson won the Cup race. Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT came in 20^th and Joey Logano of Middletown, CT ended up 24th. Not so fortunate was Corey LaJoie, who ended in the 34^th position. Corey is the son of Randy LaJoie of Norwalk, CT who earned two Xfinity Championships during his career.

Kyle Larson had another good day on Saturday as he won the Xfinity race. Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT came in 15^th while Justin Bonsignore of LI, NY was 17th.

Chandler Smith won the Truck race. Gio Ruggiero of Seekonk, MA was tenth and Parker Kligerman of Westport, CT ended up14^th .

Out on the west coast in Long Beach, CA, Kyle Kirkwood was the winner of the Indy Car race while Santino Ferrucci of Woodbury, CT came in tenth.

Quick Turnaround after Thompson Midweek Show Cancels Sunoco 604 Modifieds for NHMS

Barre, VT & Naples, ME — With weather having rearranged several plans for both the Thompson Speedway Icebreaker season opener and the Northeast Classic showcase at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, an unfortunate casualty has occurred. With the second portion of the 51st Icebreaker set to go green Wednesday night, April 16, both American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) officials have chosen to remove the Sunoco 604 Modifieds from the Northeast Classic, now scheduled for Friday Practice Day on Friday, April 18 and race day on Saturday, April 19.
