Don’t expect the Joe Gibbs Racing juggernaut to lose steam anytime soon.
After Christopher Bell charged to victory in Saturday’s Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway—completing the organization’s sweep of the first round of the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs, team owner Joe Gibbs basked in the afterglow of yet another job well done.
The NHMS Operations and Maintenance teams have worked tirelessly for months to ensure New Hampshire Motor Speedway is ready to welcome race fans starting this Saturday when campgrounds open for New England’s only NASCAR Playoffs weekend next weekend.
LOUDON, N.H. – This Saturday, Sept. 13 marks the start of nine days of NASCAR in New England with campgrounds opening at 8 a.m. to welcome thousands of campers from all over who make New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) their home-away-from-home while their favorite drivers battle it out on “The Magic Mile.” The NHMS Operations and Maintenance teams have worked tirelessly for months preparing the 1,200-acre property, from the campgrounds to the racetrack, to shine its brightest.
BRISTOL, Tenn. — With a charge to the lead from fifth place with four laps left in Saturday’s Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway, Christopher Bell kept Joe Gibbs Racing and Toyota perfect in the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs.
Bell survived a hard, square shot to his rear bumper from Brad Keselowski in the final corner and steered straight to the finish line, 0.343 seconds ahead of the Roush Fenway Keselowski co-owner and driver.

With four road-course wins on the season so far, Shane van Gisbergen admits New Hampshire Motor Speedway will be a challenge, but he’s up for it.
LOUDON, N.H. – NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) rookie Shane van Gisbergen locked himself in to the Round of 16 of the NASCAR Playoffs with four road-course wins so far this season, but ovals have been a struggle. With his full focus currently on making it to the Round of 12 with a strong showing at this Saturday’s cutoff race at Bristol Motor Speedway, van Gisbergen will soon shift his efforts to prepare for tackling New Hampshire Motor Speedway’s (NHMS) flat 1.058-mile oval.
STAMFORD, Conn. – Sept. 11, 2025 – The cutoff race for the NASCAR Cup Series Round of 16 Playoffs will be presented this Saturday, Sept. 13, with the Bass Pro Shops Night Race from Bristol Motor Speedway at 7:30 p.m. ET on USA Network, while the SuperMotocross World Championship continues with the penultimate round this Saturday from The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis at 6:30 p.m. ET exclusively on Peacock.
BRISTOL, Tenn. – The last two races at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway have essentially been Kyle Larson highlight reels and the Playoff driver would like nothing more than to continue that domination in Saturday night’s Bass Pro Shops Night Race (7:30 p.m. ET on USA Network, PRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).
Earlier this week, the Haas Factory Team, which fields Fords for Cole Custer in the NASCAR Cup Series and Sam Mayer and Sheldon Creed in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, announced it would be switching power-plants to Chevrolet in 2026.

It’s not often that a driver leaves a race track proud of an 18th-place finish, but that was clearly the case with Austin Dillon after last Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Playoff race at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway.
In fact, finishing 18th was a triumph for the driver of the No. 3 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet, and it left him within striking distance of the Round of 12 entering Saturday’s Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway (7:30 p.m. ET on USA, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).
