(Lincoln, IL) — More than 60 competitors took to the ¼-mile dirt oval Thursday night for open practice, kicking off the 2025 DIRTcar Fall Nationals weekend at Lincoln Speedway. Perfect weather and a smooth, fast racetrack greeted teams as they tuned up for two big nights of racing action.
Champions, Campers, and the Best of the Midwest Set to Converge for Season Finale
LINCOLN, IL – The wait is over — it’s officially DIRTcar Fall Nationals week at Lincoln Speedway, where well over 100 of the best drivers from across the Midwest will close out the 2025 racing season in grand fashion. The three-day event runs Thursday through Saturday, October 16–18, featuring open practice on Thursday night and two full nights of national championship racing on Friday and Saturday.

Farm & Home Supply Night Before The Mile This Friday at Lincoln SpeedwayLincoln, IL – The action heats up this Friday night, August 15, as Lincoln Speedway hosts the Farm & Home Supply Night Before The Mile, kicking off an exciting three-day racing weekend in Central Illinois. The Morrow Brothers Ford MOWA Sprint Cars headline the night’s program, joined by the DIRTcar Pro Late Models, DIRTcar Modifieds, Crown Vics, and the MARA Midgets.
Joseph Srigley of TobyChristie reports that Stewart Friesen, a full-time competitor in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, has been transported to a local hospital following an accident in a Super DIRTcar Series event at Autodrome Drummond on Monday.
The incident occurred during a feature event at the Drummondville, Quebec-based racetrack when Friesen was in a three-wide battle and went wide on the straightaway, sending his Halmar International-sponsored machine up the racetrack and towards the barrier.

Back on July 28, 2023, Amy Holland became the first female driver to win a DIRT big-block modified feature race at the Brewerton Speedway.
Friday night, this Fulton racer did it again, winning the 35-lap, big-block feature using a small-block Chevrolet engine in her modified. Despite giving up over 100 cubic inches in engine displacement to her big-block competitors, Holland had her modified handling perfectly on the 3/8th-mile Brewerton oval.
