KIDS ROCChemung, N.Y. – (August 6, 2025) – The Race of Champions Modified Series will continue one of the Southern Tier’s most cherished traditions this Saturday, August 9, with the running of “The Night Before The Glen – Rod Spalding Classic” at Chemung Speedrome — and this year’s event just got a major boost.   NASCAR Cup Series star Ryan Preece, of Berlin, Conn., driver of the RKF Racing No. 60, will join the night’s festivities to sign autographs and serve as honorary starter for the 75-lap Modified Series feature. Preece, one of the sport’s most popular and respected drivers, has been on a hot streak and recently appeared on the Dale Jr. Download with Dale Earnhardt Jr., generating national buzz.

Woodstock, NH White Mountain Motorsports Park opened their gates Saturday for the biggest showdown of the season with the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour invading for the 8th annual Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250. With $10,000 on the line and plenty of strategy available to be there at the end of 250 laps, the 2025 edition only added to the magic that is the Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250.

Woodstock, NH — Thirty Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour Late Models entered the pits at White Mountain Motorsports Park on Saturday afternoon and all thirty started the 8th annual Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250. Former King of the Mountain track champion Kasey Beattie earned the pole in Plus/Minus qualifying with a +6 in heat three with eight-time ACT champion Brian Hoar to his outside. The two battled hard at the onset before Beattie took off with the lead in the early goings. The lap 100 fuel stop quickly gave way to a mad dash to the pit area for fresh Hoosier Racing Tires with Beattie, Nick Sweet, Bryan Mason and Hoar opting to stay out and play the strategy game.

Barre, VT – In a night filled with Thunder Road favorite events, none could beat the annual Port-a-Potty Grand Prix. A Ken Squier Original, the three point leaders and a chosen Road Warrior crew lined up for the annual test of man, crew and endurance at the Nation’s Site of Excitement. While Kyler Davis took home the Golden Plunger for the best appearing potty, Sam Caron took home the Golden Throne toilet seat prize as first across the Thunder Road two-ply finish line.
