Coby qualified the No. 10 Mayhew Tools machine in the fourth spot, ran inside the top-10 for the distance of the Toyota Mod Classic 150, and crossed the line fourth at the finish driving the Doug Coby Racing entry. Doug Coby Heads to Oswego With Winning in Mind
MILFORD, Conn. — With a goal of winning in mind, Doug Coby is heading back to Oswego Speedway this weekend looking to carry the checkered flag. Coby, a former winner at the New York oval, didn’t compete in the first NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event at the track earlier this year, and instead, won the inaugural SRX event at Stafford Motor Speedway on June 12.

In life if the world gives you lemons you make lemonade. Saturday night after making an unapproved adjustment after setting fast time in qualifying Kyle Soper of Manorville was made to start The Bubba 100 Buzz Chew NASCAR Modifieds event at the rear of the 19-car grid. No problem for Soper who made enough lemonade after being handed lemons for the entire pit area to quench their thirst with as he drove from last to first for his fourth victory in the last seven starts. HOLTSVILLE, N.Y. — Justin Bonsignore will continue his quest for a third NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour championship this Saturday, August 21, at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway. Saddled with starting 12th in Saturday night’s Buzz Chew Chevrolet NASCAR Modified feature didn’t deter John Baker of Brookhaven from racing to his second win of the season on I Love American night at Riverhead Raceway as he won the 50-lap feature event.
