Troy Talman Set to Pursue First SK Modified® Victory at Stafford With Casella Waste Systems as Primary Sponsor

(Stafford Springs, CT)—After recording a career best four podium finishes, including three 2^nd place finishes in 2022, Troy Talman is set to pursue his first career SK Modified® victory at Stafford Speedway with new primary sponsor Casella Waste Systems on his family owned #3 car. One of Talman’s second place efforts came during the Sept. 23 Casella Employee Night and his performance opened the door for Casella Waste and Mark DiMaruo, Sr. to step up to a full-time sponsorship role for the 2023 season.

McKinney Construction Returns to Stafford Contingency Program for 2023

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway has announced that hometown company McKinney Construction will return to the track’s contingency program for the 2023 season. McKinney Construction will provide a weekly $150 bonus to the 2^nd place finisher of each SK Modified® feature as well as a $150 bonus to each SK Light 2^nd place finisher. The bonuses boost the 2^nd place weekly payouts to $1,275 for the SK Modifieds® and $400 for the SK Lights.

Jimmy Blewett Returning to Full-Time SK Modified Competition with #85 Petty Cash Motorsports Team

Pit Party Returning to NAPA Spring Sizzler Weekend at Stafford Speedway

(Stafford Springs, CT)— Stafford Speedway officials have released the weekend schedule for the 2023 NAPA Auto Parts Spring Sizzler® and have included a return of the NAPA Auto Parts Pit Party. A fan favorite over the years, the NAPA Pit Party is a chance for race fans to meet drivers and get up close to the race cars prior to the afternoon’s events.

Cory DiMatteo Ready to Mount SK Modified® Championship Challenge in 2023 at Stafford

Casella Waste Systems to Sponsor Open 80 at Stafford Speedway; Rejoins SK Modified Contingency Program

Stafford Speedway Releases Trading Card for Weekly Racers

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway has released a 54-piece trading card set featuring drivers from Stafford’s 5 weekly racing divisions. Cards come in packs of 13 with 12 base and 1 foil card. The trading cards feature the top-10 finishers in the 2022 points standings in the SK Modified®, Late Model, Limited Late Model, SK Light Modified, and Street Stock divisions that have registered to compete in the 2023 season.

Jeff Gallup to Race NAPA Spring Sizzler With Special Tribute Scheme

(Stafford Springs, CT)—When Open Modified cars descend upon Stafford Speedway on April 29-30 for the 51^st Annual NAPA Spring Sizzler®, Agawam, MA native Jeff Gallup will be carrying a special throwback scheme on his Ceravolo’s Auto sponsored modified. Normally Gallup carries the #4ma for competition, but for the Sizzler® Gallup will change his car number to #50 and utilize the same paint scheme to honor his late father Richie.

Call Before You Dig to Present CBYD Open 81 at Stafford Speedway
