HERMON, ME. – Since D.J. Shaw won the Granite State Pro Stock Series’ Maine debut in 2016, every race in the Pine Tree State had been won by a Mainer leading into Sunday afternoon’s showdown at Speedway 95.
And July winner Mike Hopkins kept that streak alive, picking up the win at his home track for a clean sweep of both visits to the Hermon, Maine, third-mile.
Just three weeks remain in the weekly racing season for 2024 at Seekonk Speedway. This Friday and Saturday night, the Sunoco Drive For The Cup playoffs continue with racing across nine different Seekonk divisions.
The battle is on to gain as many playoff points as possible in all divisions, as drivers continue to try and etch their name into the Final Four. It all begins on Friday night at 7 p.m. with five divisions of racing, followed by another four divisions of NASCAR Saturday racing at 6 p.m. On NASCAR Saturday, the East Coast Towing & Recovery Spectator Drags also will join the show for the final time during a weekly racing event this season. WALPOLE, N.H. – Only two events remain in the chase for the 2024 Granite State Pro Stock Series crown. But before the season can draw to a close at Lee USA Speedway, one last road trip awaits the series faithful, a road trip that carries special meaning for each of the two championship challengers.
Speedway 95 in Hermon, Maine, welcomes the GSPSS for its second visit of the year, another event in a busy and high-profile month for racing in the Pine Tree State this Sunday, September 15. Walpole NH -June 9th 2024 – The Granite State Pro Stock Series announced tonight a significant change in their upcoming schedule. The highly anticipated $5,000 to win event initially set for Sunday, June 16th, at Speedway 95 in Bangor, Maine, has been rescheduled to Saturday night, July 20th.
SEEKONK, Mass. — Seekonk Speedway will be back on the track on Friday, June 7 and Saturday, June 8, with another doubleheader of New England short-track racing on tap. Friday includes the third round of the Fast Friday season for 2024, with the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars, Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Pure Stocks, Sport 4’s and Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandits and Outlaws all on track.
