Round Two Of Sunoco Drive For The Cup Playoff Racing This Weekend At Seekonk Speedway

Just three weeks remain in the weekly racing season for 2024 at Seekonk Speedway. This Friday and Saturday night, the Sunoco Drive For The Cup playoffs continue with racing across nine different Seekonk divisions.

The battle is on to gain as many playoff points as possible in all divisions, as drivers continue to try and etch their name into the Final Four. It all begins on Friday night at 7 p.m. with five divisions of racing, followed by another four divisions of NASCAR Saturday racing at 6 p.m. On NASCAR Saturday, the East Coast Towing & Recovery Spectator Drags also will join the show for the final time during a weekly racing event this season. Mid-Afternoon Rain Causes Race Cancelation Saturday Night For Grandview Speedway, Spunktown Tavern & Restaurant Championship Night Determines Point Titles Next Saturday September 14

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – Following significant rainfall during a line of storms mid-afternoon, and with more rain showers on the radar screen to follow for the next several hours leading up to race time Saturday evening, track management had to once again cancel the planned race events for this week at Grandview Speedway.

The mid and late day precipitation left the speedway facility very wet, and with no drying weather expected right after the rain moved through, it would not have allowed the track crew a chance to be able to prepare the track in a timely manner for the evening’s race program. (more…)

Kids Money Scramble Joins NASCAR Modified & Sportsman Double Header This Saturday At Grandview Speedway

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – Grandview Speedway is prepared and ready for the Labor Day holiday weekend with the presentation of two-days of racing to end the month of August.

This Saturday, August 31 will feature the T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds and the T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman in another NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series program starting at 7:30 pm. The show will include qualifying events for both classes leading up to the 30-lap T.P. Trailer Modified feature and the 25-lap T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman feature event. (more…)
