Thompson, CT — An incredible flood of fans entered Thompson Speedway on Wednesday night for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour’s annual midweek Thompson 150 with plenty of magic in the air. Along with a much anticipated visit from Geoff Bodine and the original Big Red Machine #1 from his stellar 1978 campaign, the NASCAR touring teams battled in the Tour’s 750th event back where it all began in 1985.

Already highlighted by the 7th annual Road Warrior Challenge, Five Star Roofing night has also filled the void for the rain-delayed Vermont Lottery Flying Tiger trophy dash from back on July 17 while the Street Stocks will also crown the Vermont Agency of Transportation Triple Crown champion to boot! Barre, VT – The first dry Bolduc Metal Recycling Enduro 200 in two years graced the fans and drivers at Thunder Road on Sunday afternoon. Twenty-nine rk Miles Street Stocks piled in for the annual Bolduc Metal Recycling Street Stock Special 50 lapper, Round #2 in the Vermont Agency of Transportation Triple Crown while 103 Enduro cars from across New England traveled up for the 41st annual People’s Race!

Chase Grennan Prevails In Wild Oval Speed Unlimited Bubba 150 Becoming First Repeat Riverhead Raceway Modified Winner Of 2025

Riverhead RacewayChase Grennan of Glen Cove is quickly gaining a reputation among the NASCAR Modified ranks at Riverhead Raceway, and it’s one the 18-year-old second generation driver is proud to bear. After Chase survived a wild Oval Speed Unlimited Bubba 150 Saturday earning his third career win, he again sat in victory lane after another signature race at the historic bullring. Grennan started things off by winning the Islip 300 last November, then earlier in June won the 75th Anniversary Flying Dutchman Tribute before his $7,166 triumph in the Bubba 150.

Matt O’Brien Scores First Wiscasset Feature Win of 35-Year Racing Career

Wiscasset Speedway returned to action on Saturday night with an action-packed Group 2 program that included the lightning-fast NEMA Midgets and NEMA Lites.

The racing action kicked off with the first of two 30-lap features for the Portland Glass Strictly Streets. Brady Romano took off with the early lead, but trouble was on the horizon as Scott Eck and Landon Tapley collided, resulting in a caution. Romano remained strong on the restart but Ben Burgess was on the move, overtaking the lead on lap 10 as Joe Harriman followed in succession. Burgess maintained command following a mid-race restart, picking up his second win of the season in the division. Joe Harriman and Chuck Wagstaff (1st career podium) followed, completing the top 3.

Pelkey Claims the 100 Lap Showdown, Corliss Takes Home Squier Cup From Thunder Road

Barre, VT – In a night filled with Thunder Road favorite events, none could beat the annual Port-a-Potty Grand Prix. A Ken Squier Original, the three point leaders and a chosen Road Warrior crew lined up for the annual test of man, crew and endurance at the Nation’s Site of Excitement. While Kyler Davis took home the Golden Plunger for the best appearing potty, Sam Caron took home the Golden Throne toilet seat prize as first across the Thunder Road two-ply finish line.
