Miguel Paludo Returns to JRM and NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2022
MOORESVILLE, N.C. (Dec. 1, 2021) –Miguel Paludo will return to JR Motorsports for three NASCAR Xfinity Series road course events in 2022. Paludo, a seven-time champion and current defending winner of the Porsche Carrera Cup, will drive the No. 88 BRANDT Professional Agriculture Chevrolet in the NXS races at Circuit of the Americas (March 26), Road America (July 2) and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course (July 30). JOEY LOGANO, No. 22 Shell/Pennzoil Ford Mustang — WAS THERE ANY POINTS WHERE YOU FELT IT NEEDED TO END RIGHT THEN AND THERE? “No, I felt fine most of it. It felt uncomfortable at times on the restarts if you were fifth on back. It felt pretty uncomfortable because they get to the point that the little red light, you can’t even see that light anymore. They don’t have to be that far — maybe 30-40 feet in front of you and you’d lose their red light and that’s where it gets a little sketchy.”

Chase Elliott Wins Rain-Shortened Cup Race at COTA
It was probably just a matter of time before Chase Elliott scored his first win of the season and it is only fitting it was at another road course. NASCAR had two races this season which were really big PR moves and both nearly failed due to driver visibility issues. Both the inaugural Bristol dirt race and the COTA were stopped when visibility became so bad that drivers were put into positions where they literally could not see past the hood of their cars. Only sheer luck saved anyone from being seriously hurt, especially at the COTA race. (more…)

Standings leader Austin Cindric adds to his victory total
Team Penske’s Austin Cindric was victorious last weekend at Dover International Speedway for the third time this season in the No. 22 Ford. The reigning NASCAR Xfinity Series champion took the lead from Justin Allgaier with 51 laps remaining in the race at Dover and took home another checkered flag.
