(March 27, 2025) – Darlington Raceway announced today that former NASCAR Cup Series star and two-time Cup Series winner at the Track Too Tough to Tame, Greg Biffle, will serve as the Honorary Pace Car Driver for the Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway on Sunday, April 6. The former champion of the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series will lead the field to green during the cornerstone event of The Official Throwback Weekend of NASCAR.
Hill to Pilot the No. 33 United Rentals Chevrolet in Limited Starts; Andy Street to Crew Chief the Entry
WELCOME, N.C. (March 24, 2025) – Richard Childress Racing announced today that Austin Hill and United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental company, will return to NASCAR Cup Series competition for a limited schedule in 2025. In the first of five starts, Hill will drive the No. 33 United Rentals Chevrolet at the historic Darlington Raceway on April 6. Andy Street will crew chief the part-time entry and make his debut calling the shots in the Cup Series.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (March 18, 2025) – Darlington Raceway’s 75th Anniversary Exhibit at the NASCAR Hall of Fame officially opened Tuesday with the help of two of the greatest drivers ever to race the Track Too Tough to Tame.
NASCAR Hall of Famers Richard Petty (Class of 2010) and Mark Martin (Class of 2017) joined NASCAR and Darlington Raceway dignitaries to cut the ribbon on the exhibit paying tribute to the greatest races, competitors and milestones in the track’s storied history.
“This was a fitting way to unveil this incredible exhibit and begin Darlington Raceway’s 75th Anniversary celebration,” said Darlington Raceway President Josh Harris. “The NASCAR Hall of Fame does a first-class job honoring the rich legacy of our sport, and we look forward to all of the fans enjoying an exhibit that highlights everything that has made Darlington Raceway Too Tough to Tame throughout the past 75 years.”

Darlington Throwback Weekend scheme celebrates the storied history of the No. 2 in NASCAR
COLUMBIA, S.C. (March 4, 2025) – Team Penske and Austin Cindric today unveiled a special throwback paint scheme for the upcoming Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway, the Official Throwback Weekend of NASCAR.
