MILFORD, Conn. – Doug Coby Racing announced today the addition of champion crew chief John McKenna to the team for the 2022 season, while also announcing a seven-race Modified schedule. The team is tentatively set to run four NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour events and three Open Modified races – filling out a schedule where the ultimate goal will be to capture the trophy. The team also announced the return of Mayhew Tools as the primary sponsor of the No. 10 Modified.

Seekonk Speedway announced on Friday a portion of the 2022 schedule for the 76th season of racing action at the third-mile oval. Seekonk Speedway has announced 18 NASCAR Saturday Showdowns, beginning on May 1 and Opening Day, along with 16 Fast Friday weekly series races, beginning on May 27. SEEKONK, Mass. — Tri Track Open Modified Series officials confirmed on Tuesday a seven-race schedule for the 2022 season. The series will visit six different tracks in four states spreading from April through the end of October, with the champion coronation set to return to Seekonk Speedway on October 22.

SEEKONK, Mass. — Seekonk Speedway will celebrate champions from the 2021 season from both Fast Friday and NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series Saturday next January. Two different banquets will be held to appropriately honor all of the champions, top-10 finishers and special award winners from all nine of Seekonk’s racing divisions. Rowe Wins Race and ACT Championship on Final Lap at Seekonk
Seekonk, MA — Turner, ME’s Ben Rowe gave the 30th American-Canadian Tour (ACT) Late Model season one of the most dramatic finishes in series history by passing D.J. Shaw on the final lap to win the Haunted Hundred at Massachusetts’ Seekonk Speedway on Saturday, October 23. Rowe rode the outside rim on a green-white-championship finish to beat his rival by 0.043 seconds for the win and by five points for the championship. (more…)
Dowling Wins Tri Track Haunted Hundred at Seekonk, Hirschman Clinches Sixth Series Title
SEEKONK, Mass. — Chase Dowling started at the front and never relinquished the top spot in a victorious afternoon at Seekonk Speedway on Saturday, October 23. Dowling bested the field in the Tri Track Open Modified Series Haunted Hundred — outlasting 26 of the top Modified drivers in New England to score a $6,000 check in the season-finale.
