Stretch Run To GSPSS Championship Starts Saturday At Speedway 95

WALPOLE, N.H. – After a long and restorative summer break, the Granite State Pro Stock Series (GSPSS) returns to action with a four-week, four-race sprint to the season finale.
The title race begins in earnest this Saturday at Speedway 95, the third-mile in Hermon, Maine, that has served as the GSPSS’ “Vacationland” home over the last few years.
Maine NASCAR Veteran Ricky Craven Buys Speedway 95 In Hermon

WMTW reports that Maine native and former NASCAR driver Ricky Craven has purchased Speedway 95 in Hermon, taking over from longtime owner Delano Merritt, who has been the sole owner of the track since 2010, according to a press release.

Unfavorable weather conditions detoured the start of the 2025 Ladies Acceleration Tour season and nearly delayed another event on Saturday as the races at Riverside Speedway were cancelled. HERMON, ME. – Since D.J. Shaw won the Granite State Pro Stock Series’ Maine debut in 2016, every race in the Pine Tree State had been won by a Mainer leading into Sunday afternoon’s showdown at Speedway 95.
And July winner Mike Hopkins kept that streak alive, picking up the win at his home track for a clean sweep of both visits to the Hermon, Maine, third-mile.
