The 2023 season also saw Owen finish in the top-10 in each of the 17 races held and extended a streak of consecutive top-10 finishes to 34 consecutive races, dating back to June of 2022.

Kevin Gambacorta Makes Stafford Speedway Track History With Late Model Championship
(Stafford Springs, CT)—After 11 seasons of chasing the Late Model title at Stafford Speedway, Kevin Gambacorta and the #23 Lavigne Law team were finally able to lock down the championship in 2023. Gambacorta was already one of 14 drivers to have won Stafford track championships in different divisions but his Late Model title enters him into the Stafford record books as the first driver to have won a championship in three different divisions.
George Bessette, Jr. Captures 2023 SK Light Championship at Stafford
(Stafford Springs, CT)—In a season that was filled with peaks and valleys for George Bessette, Jr., the driver of the #39 Lasco Roofing and Sheet Metal SK Light was able to take home the 2023 SK Light championship. The SK Light championship marks the second time Bessette has won a Stafford track championship with his first championship coming during the 2018 season in the Street Stock division.
