The 2023 season marks the 53rd consecutive season the Stafford Springs, CT half-mile has been operated by the Arute family and will kick off with the biggest Modified event in the country, the 51st running of the NAPA Auto Parts Spring Sizzler®, April 29th & 30th.

American-Canadian Tour Returns to Stafford Speedway After 38 Years
Barre, VT & Stafford Springs, CT — In an exciting announcement the American-Canadian Tour will return to the Home of the SK Modified, Connecticut’s Stafford Speedway on Saturday, April 29th as part of the 51st NAPA Spring Sizzler weekend. For the first time since 1985, the American-Canadian Tour will turn on the iconic half-mile oval during the weekend dubbed ‘The Greatest Race in the History of Spring!’
Stafford Speedway Championship Video Series Launching October 24th

Beginning October 24th Stafford Speedway will feature daily videos with the top 5 finishers in all 5 weekly divisions as well as interviews with the top Rookies and improved drivers. Stafford Speedway Wraps Up NAPA Auto Parts Championship Night
(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway hosted its final Friday night race program of the 2022 season with NAPA Auto Parts Championship Night on September 30. Taking down feature wins on the night were Ronnie Williams in the SK Modified® feature, Wayne Coury, Jr. in the Late Model feature, Tyler Chapman in the SK Light feature, Alexandra Fearn in the Limited Late Model feature, and Bobby Stirk, III in the Street Stock feature.
Stafford Track Championships To Be Decided During NAPA Championship Night
(Stafford Springs, CT)—This Friday night, September 30th, will serve as NAPA Championship Night at Stafford Motor Speedway, with the track crowning its 2022 track champions. The SK Light and Limited Late Model titles will be decided this Friday night while three championships have already been decided with Todd Owen clinching his second consecutive SK Modified® championship, Adam Gray locking up his fourth career Late Model title, and Travis Hydar claiming the Street Stock crown.
Ronnie Silk Wins NAPA Fall Final Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series Feature at Stafford
(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Motor Speedway welcomed the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series to the track $15,000 to win NAPA Fall Final. With 51 cars on hand to qualify for 32 starting positions, there was also a 20-lap RaceChoice.com B-Main feature which allowed the winner to choose from either a $1,000 payday or to join the starting field for the 80-lap main event. Bello, Chapman, and Ferrante Score NAPA Fall Final Feature Wins at Stafford Speedway
(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway hosted the NAPA Auto Parts Fall Final headlined by the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series with the SK Modifieds®, SK Lights, and Vintage All-Stars also in feature action. Anthony Bello was victorious for the second time during his rookie SK Modified® season, Steven Chapman dominated the 20-lap SK Light Invitational, and Tony Ferrante, Jr. won the Vintage All-Stars race.
