Fisher Storms to Victory At Thunder Road
Barre, VT — Shelburne’s Kaiden “Tropical Storm” Fisher lived up to his nickname at a hot and humid Vermont Tire & Service Night on Friday, August 20. The 13-year-old phenom charged the lead just before halfway in the 50-lap Street Stock Special to win the event for the second straight year. Fisher also unofficially took over the point lead in the RK Miles Street Stock division.
Jamie York Wins the Road Warrior Challenge at Thunder Road
Barre, VT — Barre’s Jamie York picked the best time to get his first career Thunder Road victory in the annual Road Warrior Challenge at NorthCountry Federal Credit Union Night on Sunday, August 15. York dominated the 50-lap special for the Burnett Scrap Metals Road Warriors as part of a special Sunday twilight show seen live on FloRacing.

Hoyt Outruns Competition and Weather to Win Bolduc Enduro 200 at Thunder Road
Barre, VT — Braintree’s George Hoyt proved that steady and sure wins the race by triumphing in the 37th Bolduc Metal Recycling Enduro 200 at Barre’s Thunder Road on Sunday, August 8. Barre, VT — Craftsbury Common’s Stephen Martin topped one of the closest championship battles in recent Thunder Road history by winning the Myers Container Service Triple Crown Series finale at Cody Chevrolet-Cadillac Night on Thursday, August 5. Martin wrestled the lead away from his dad Michael in the closing stages of the 75-lap Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tiger feature to win both the race and the Triple Crown title in one fell swoop.
ACT & Thunder Road Announce $5,000 Top Prize at Labor Day Classic
Barre, VT — The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Barre’s Thunder Road have announced the 43rd Berlin Optical Expressions Labor Day Classic on Sunday, September 5 will pay $5,000 to the winner. The 200-lap showdown instantly becomes one of the richest point-counting events of the year on the ACT Late Model Tour schedule. It will be broadcast live on FloRacing as part of the track’s live streaming agreement with Thunder Road.
