Barre, VT — The time has come once again for the return of the longest point-counting event of the summer season for the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour as they invade New Hampshire’s White Mountain Motorsports Park for the 8th annual Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250! The $10,000 to win showdown will once again pit the local hot-shoes versus the Touring stars and the Quebec invaders for the title fight of the summer season!

Stafford Speedway(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway is set to host the biggest SK Modified® race of the 2025 season this Friday, August 1st with the NAPA SK 5k.  The 12th edition of the $5,000 to win race boasts over $35,000 in purse and contingency money, but that won’t be the only money getting paid out to SK Modified® drivers this Friday.  The NAPA SK 5k will serve as the third and final race of the TickMike.com Triple Crown with $20,000 to be paid out to Stafford Speedway SK Modified® drivers.  Combined with the NAPA SK 5k total posted awards, SK Modified® drivers will be chasing their share of over $55,000 in prizes this Friday night.

After Dominating White Mountain New Hampshire Governor’s Cup, Renfrew Loses Out in Tech

N. Woodstock, NH — A great crowd filed into White Mountain Motorsports Park Saturday night for the second round in the Wall’s Ford Platinum Late Model Series. The Kid’s Bike and Scooter giveaway also called in the kids and families to experience a fun night at the races!

The Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers got Saturday’s showcase off and running with Nate Hamblett taking off with the lead under the green flag. A stalemate battle for fourth between Logan Powers, Tyler Pepin, Matt Potter and Shane Sicard finally broke by the halfway point with Sicard running away to chase down Hamblett. Without the aid of a caution flag, Sicard could only settle for second with Nate Hamblett walking away for his second career Flying Tiger win with Luke Peters rounding out the podium.

Lotus EspritAfter turning heads at Lime Rock HF42, the 1992 Lotus Esprit X180R is back for Historic Festival 43. Presented and driven by David Nagler, this factory-built race car is one of just five produced for competition in the SCCA World Challenge and IMSA Bridgestone Supercar Championship.

Chassis Type 105/106 was a front-runner from the start, campaigned by Doc Bundy, Scott Lagasse, and even Paul Newman, whose deep ties to Lime Rock make this car’s return all the more special. It helped deliver Lotus the 1992 IMSA Manufacturer’s Championship.

Rain Halts Riverhead Raceway Sunday Action

The final weekend of July was to be a doubleheader at Riverhead Raceway, led by the Advance Auto Parts Night at the Races Saturday night followed the make-up of the June 7th program Sunday afternoon. However, mother nature had other ideas with a weather system moving over Long Island late Saturday into Sunday forcing track management to postpone Sunday action.

Owen Grennan Schools Riverhead Raceway NASCAR Modified Field With Flag To Flag Victory

Riverhead RacewayOwen Grennan of Glen Cove, a schoolteacher by day doesn’t return to work in the East Meadow school district for a few weeks, however Saturday night at Riverhead Raceway he taught his fellow NASCAR Modified competitors a lesson when he won the 50-lap Advance Auto Parts Night feature. Owen led all 50-circuits and became the 7th different winner in seven starts for the Modifieds in 2025.
