Spire Motorsports Go Bowling at The Glen Race Advance

In 10 NASCAR Cup Series starts at Watkins Glen (N.Y.) International, Spire Motorsports has logged two top-five and three top-10 finishes. Carson Hocevar earned a team-best third-place result in last season’s Go Bowling at The Glen. He led the charge in what marked the first triple top-10 day for the team, as teammates Zane Smith and Corey LaJoie crossed the line in fifth and eighth, respectively. Spire Motorsports fields the Nos. 7, 71 and 77 Chevrolet ZL1s in the Cup Series for Justin Haley, Michael McDowell and Hocevar, respectively.

New England’s only NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs race is Sunday, Sept. 21 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway

LOUDON, N.H. – Of course New England race fans look forward to experiencing their annual NASCAR weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS), but the NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) drivers look forward to coming to “The Magic Mile” each year, and much of that has to do with the fans themselves. William Byron Saves Fuel To The Max In Suspenseful NASCAR Cup Win At Iowa

NEWTON, Iowa — An extraordinary spat of cautions in Sunday’s Iowa Corn 350 Powered by Ethanol allowed William Byron to save an extraordinary amount of fuel, and that proved the difference in Byron’s second victory of the season and first since the DAYTONA 500.

Squeezing 144 laps out of his fuel cell at an Iowa Speedway track where the fuel window is roughly 100 laps, Byron crossed the finish line ahead of a trio of pursuers—pole winner Chase Briscoe, first and second stage winner Brad Keselowski and defending race winner Ryan Blaney—all on different strategies.
