Grandview Speedway Presents NASCAR Modified & Sportsman Double Header This Saturday Night – Sportsman Twin 20’s Are June 21

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – Grandview Speedway is looking to get back into action with a NASCAR two-division program this Saturday night.

The show on Saturday, June 14 will be another NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series double-header program featuring the T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds and the T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman, including qualifying events for both classes leading into a 30-lap T.P. Trailer Modified feature and a 25-lap feature for the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman.

After months of preparation and anticipation, NASCAR is all packed up and on its way south of the border for the Cup Series’ inaugural visit to Mexico City.

Haulers hit the road from the Michigan International Speedway garage Sunday night at approximately 7:30 ET, loaded with what they’ll need for Sunday’s Viva Mexico 250 at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez (3 p.m. ET, Prime Video, MRN Radio, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio), the series’ first international points race since 1952. But in reality, this journey started months ago.

For the first time this season and 75th time in history, the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour heads to New York’s Long Island to compete at Riverhead Raceway this Saturday night with the running of the Miller Lite Salutes Steve Park 200 (8 p.m. ET on FloRacing).

Riverhead has a long and storied history with the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, which has been visiting the track since the its inaugural season in 1985. Future NASCAR Cup Series driver Jimmy Spencer won the first two events at the track that year, with Richie Evans claiming the third.
