INDYCAR And FOX Sports Announce Historic Media Rights Deal

INDYCAR and FOX Sports today announce the new exclusive home of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and the iconic Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge beginning in 2025. The new media rights deal provides a massive and unprecedented increase in exposure for North America’s premier open-wheel racing series, with every 2025 race airing on FOX and available on the FOX Sports app. FOX Deportes will carry exclusive Spanish-language television coverage with a schedule to be announced at a later date.

How Did Northeast Drivers And Those With Connections To The Six New England States Fared At Charlotte And Indy
Christopher Bell made it to Victory Lane in the Cup race with Joey Logano of Middletown, CT coming in 14th and Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT took 26th with Boston’s Kaz Grala ending up 34th while Corey LaJoie ended his day in 35th.
Corey LaJoie is the son of Randy LaJoie who called Norwalk, CT home before he moved to Charlotte, NC to be closer to the NASCAR action in which he won a pair of Xfinity Championships.
Chase Elliott came home the victor in the Xfinity Series race with Kyle Weatherman ended up 10th and Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT got 16th, Patrick Emerling of Long Island, NY came in 30th, Blain Perkins was 35th and Parker Kligerman of Stamford, CT ended up 37th. Weatherman and Perkins both drive team cars for Cape Cod’s Chris and Mary Our that get their US Mail in Harwich, MA.
Tanner Gray won the Menards ARCA Series while Andy Jankowiak of Buffalo, NY came in 16th.
Joseph Newgarden won the Indy 500 and Santino Ferrucci of Woodbury, CT. Ferrucci was also in the hunt for the entire 500 miles

STAMFORD, Conn. – May 14, 2024 – Seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion and former INDYCAR driver Jimmie Johnson is joining NBC Sports’ motorsports coverage for four races in 2024. Johnson will contribute to pre-race and race coverage of NBC Sports’ presentation of the 108th Running of the Indianapolis 500 from iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) on May 26 on NBC and Peacock, bolstering NBC Sports’ robust presentation of the historic event. Previously, Johnson contributed to NBC Sports’ studio coverage for The Greatest Spectacle in Racing in 2021.
