BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – Grandview Speedway continues to prepare for a brand-new race season this Saturday, March 29 by holding an open practice to help kick start the 2025 season.

Saturday, March 29 will be the traditional free-to-the-public practice session open to all racing divisions. Drivers will have the opportunity to test their reworked or brand-new equipment for the new season before competition officially begins next week. David Gravel of Watertown, CT and Big Game Motorsports came about as close to perfection as possible this weekend in the “Lone Star State.”

It began with Friday’s victorious night at Cotton Bowl Speedway. The defending World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car champion started the night with Simpson Quick Time and topped the opening Heat Race. Gravel then finished fourth in the Toyota Dash, and it would be the first and only time he wasn’t atop the leaderboard the entire weekend.
