Ryan Blaney won the Cup race at Phoenix. Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT finished 13th while Joey Logano of Middletown, CT took 31st. Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield CT ended his day in 33rd place.
In the NASCAR O’Reilly Series it was Justin Allgaier taking that one with Anthony Alfredo in tenth.
In the Indy Car race at the same track Joseph Newgarden went to Victory Lane while Santino of Woodbury, CT came in 11th.

NEW YORK – March 5, 2026 – SiriusXM begins its coverage of the 2026 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP with this week’s season-opening event, the FORMULA 1 QATAR AIRWAYS AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX in Melbourne on Sunday, March 8 (live at 3 am ET).
SiriusXM listeners get access to live broadcasts of every F1 race in its entirety throughout the season in their vehicles (channels 160/205) and on the SiriusXM app. Fans will hear the BBC 5 Live radio broadcast for each Grand Prix, as well as pre- and post-race programming before and after each race, and coverage of practice and qualifying sessions.
WELCOME, NC (March 4, 2026) – Garrett Mitchell, commonly known as “Cleetus McFarland” to his millions of YouTube subscribers, is scheduled to make his NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series (NOAPS) debut in 2026 for Richard Childress Racing (RCR) with support from Tommy’s Express, a rapidly growing national car wash chain with more than 270 locations across the United States, Canada and France. Mitchell is scheduled to race the No. 33 Tommy’s Express Chevrolet as a third entry in RCR’s championship-winning NOAPS program.

The Levan Machine & Truck Equipment Thunder on the Hill Racing Series will kickoff their thirty-seventh season with open with the Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing 410 Sprints on Tuesday night, May 19 at the Grandview Speedway. In the event of rain, Wednesday night, May 20 will be the rain date. On race night, gates will open at 4:30 PM for Advance ticket holders, with general admission tickets going on sale at 5 PM. Time trials will get underway at 7 PM.

Elma, NY (March 2, 2026) — Race of Champions management and FloRacing have reached a multi-year agreement that will bring expanded coverage of the Race of Champions “Family of Series” to the FloRacing platform for the next three seasons, beginning in 2026.
Under the agreement, FloRacing will serve as the exclusive streaming provider for the Race of Champions “Family of Series” through the 2028 season.
