BOWMANVILLE, Ontario (July 10, 2025) – After a standout debut at the 24 Hours of Spa where Wright Motorsports earned an impressive fourth-place finish in its first-ever entry at the legendary endurance race, the team returns to IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship competition this weekend for the Chevrolet Grand Prix at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP). As the only Canadian stop on the 2025 IMSA calendar, the weekend presents a double-duty challenge for the Porsche customer team, who will field entries in both the WeatherTech Championship and the VP Racing SportsCar Challenge.

(July 10, 2025) – Back-to-back wins the last two weekends in June have the TeamSLR (Scott Lagasse Racing) and M1 Racecars camp anxious to pick up where it left off as the Cube 3 Architecture TA2 Series pays its annual visit to New York’s Finger Lakes region for Saturday’s Watkins Glen SpeedTour. The three-car TeamSLR entry will be headed by fulltime drivers Tristan McKee and Barry Boes, who will be joined for the third time this season by Carson Brown. Troy Benner Autosport’s Jared Odrick rounds out the M1 Racecars lineup.

WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. – Sports car racing is having a moment of late; it’s being spotlighted on screens of all sizes across the country and across the world. There’s a litany of streaming series, docuseries and a couple sports car-specific silver screen films that have premiered within the past few years. That includes a few award winners in the IMSA space.
However, it’s F1® The Movie that – even if only briefly – showcases IMSA in a prominent guest-starring role to open proceedings to the two-and-a-half-hour summer 2025 blockbuster.
Several media members were among those granted a special opportunity to see a Porsche-hosted advance screening of the film prior to the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen weekend at The Glen Theatre in downtown Watkins Glen.
