Silver Hare Duo Ready To Roll at NOLA

HIGH POINT, N.C. (March 8, 2023) – Silver Hare Racing’s pair of young drivers Connor Zilisch and Ben Maier were just 9 and 7 years old, respectively, when the Trans Am Series by Pirelli last raced at NOLA Motorsports Park in Avondale, Louisiana, in 2016.

Zilisch, now 16, and Maier, now 14, will get their chance along with the rest of their Big Machine Vodka Spiked Coolers TA2 Series competitors when they take to the 2.75-mile, 16-turn road course on the outskirts of “The Big Easy” during this weekend’s New Orleans SpeedTour. (more…)

PETERSBURG, Fla., (March 4, 2023) – The 2023 GT America Powered by AWS championship began this weekend in St. Petersburg, Florida, and Flying Lizard Motorsports closed out rounds one and two with driver Jason Bell and his Aston Martin Vantage GT4 earning one win and a second podium finish. Flying Lizard Kicks off 2023 Season at Grand Prix of St. Petersburg

PETERSBURG, Fla., (March 2, 2023) – The GT America Powered by AWS season starts this weekend in Florida at the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, and Flying Lizard Motorsports will ring in the new season with two entries: hometown hero Jason Bell in the No. 2 Aston Martin Vantage GT4, and Andy Wilzoch in the No. 460 Porsche 911 GT3 R. LAKEVILLE, CONN. (17 February 2023)- Back in the early 1980s, IMSA instituted a one-make division for street legal cars that would set the scene for future competition including the IMSA Firestone Firehawk, SCCA World Challenge and a number of one-marque series.

Black History Month is a good time to remember one of the competitors who ran competitively in the series and made African-American history in the process.
