NASCAR Weekend at Rockingham Speedway to Include ARCA Menards Series East

ROCKINGHAM, N.C. (October 10, 2024) – The historic Rockingham Speedway will welcome back the roar of NASCAR in 2025. Today, event promoter Track Enterprises announced the ARCA Menards Series East will join the NASCAR XFINITY and NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series on April 18-19, 2025.

The ARCA Menards Series East features established veterans and NASCAR’s next stars who compete primarily on the East Coast as a top-tiered development series owned by NASCAR. The 2024 ARCA Menards East Series season concluded last month and crowned two-time series champion William Sawalich, who is expected to step into a full-time NASCAR National Series ride next year. Past ARCA East champions include NASCAR Cup Series stars Kyle Larson, Joey Logano and William Byron. (more…)

CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Playoffs Continue in South Florida in Three Weeks

The NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series competitors will have three weeks off to regroup and go over strategy before heading to Homestead-Miami Speedway for the second race of the Round of 8 on Saturday, October 26 at 12 p.m. ET on FS1, MRN, and SiriusXM Radio.

The 1.5-mile oval has hosted 27 CRAFTSMAN Truck Series races since its inaugural CRAFTSMAN Truck Series event on March 17, 1996 – a race won by Dave Rezendes piloting the No. 7 Geoffrey Bodine Motorsports Ford. Notably, there have been 24 different race winners. Kyle Busch leads the series with three wins at the track.

CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Prepares For Wild Talladega Race

The NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series is headed to the unpredictable Talladega Superspeedway to kick off the Playoffs’ Round of 8 with the Love’s RV Stop 225 this Friday, October 4 at 4:30 p.m. ET on FS1, MRN, and SiriusXM Radio – the fourth of the seven-race postseason.

The 2.66-mile superspeedway has hosted 18 CRAFTSMAN Truck Series races since its inaugural CRAFTSMAN Truck Series event on October 7, 2006 – a race won by NASCAR Hall of Famer Mark Martin driving the No. 6 Roush Racing (now known as RFK Racing) Ford.

Layne Riggs Makes Talladega Debut with Love’s RV Stop / Peak

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (October 1, 2024) – Layne Riggs travels to the state of Alabama this Friday to make his Talladega Superspeedway debut.

Following a runner-up finish at the Kansas Speedway, Riggs extends his streak of Top-5 finishes to five. This will be Riggs’ first race at the 2.6-mile superspeedway and third superspeedway race of the season. Love’s RV Stop and Peak will join Riggs in his Talladega debut. (more…)

First-ever Connecticut event for ARCA as LRP NASCAR event gains even more traction

LAKEVILLE, Conn. (27 September 2024) — Lime Rock Park is thrilled to announce that the ARCA Menards Series will join the highly anticipated NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series weekend slated for June 27-28, 2025, amplifying the excitement for motorsports fans as Lime Rock Park becomes the ultimate destination for stock car racing in the Northeast next summer.

For the first time in the series’ history, Lime Rock Park will host the ARCA Menards Series, which was first formed in 1953. The ARCA Menards Series has a long history of developing rising stars in the sport, but the Lime Rock Park event will mark the first-ever time that the championship has staged a race in Connecticut. Layne Riggs ‘Really Enjoying’ Playing Spoiler in Truck Series Playoffs

Layne Riggs stunned the entire Craftsman Truck Series garage when he took over the final 53 laps of the opening Round of 10 race at The Milwaukee Mile to claim his breakthrough win in NASCAR national series competition by 1.547 seconds.

Yet the driver of the No. 38 Front Row Motorsports Ford wasn’t content with just one triumph. Riggs set his sights on the very next event at Bristol, where he dominated the final stage, led 80 laps and again left title contenders to battle for second. (more…)

CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Playoffs’ Round of 10 Finale Headed to Kansas

The NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series returns to Kansas Speedway this weekend, and this time it’s to decide which eight postseason contenders will move on to the next round in the Playoffs’ Round of 10 finale – the Kubota Tractor 200 (Friday, September 27 at 8:30 p.m. ET on FS1, MRN, and SiriusXM Radio).

To date, the 1.5-mile track has hosted 28 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series races, producing 24 different winners and 18 different pole winners. The winningest driver in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series, Kyle Busch, and veteran Matt Crafton hold the most wins in the heartland with three apiece.

Four races have been won from the pole, most recently by John Hunter Nemechek in 2022.

Layne Riggs Returns to the Kansas Speedway with Infinity Communications

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (September 24, 2024) – Layne Riggs returns to the Kansas Speedway this weekend with Infinity Communications in search of his third straight win.

In the last four races, Riggs has earned two 5th-place finishes and two wins, most recently at the Bristol Motor Speedway last Thursday. Riggs and the No. 38 Ford F-150 team look to continue their streak of Top-5 finishes this weekend at the Kansas Speedway and best their May finish at the 1.5-mile track. (more…)
