Brad Keselowski won the Cup race with Corey LaJoie coming in 16th, Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT was 17th with Boston’s Kaz Grala taking 18th then Joey Logano of Middletown, CT finished 21st. Corey LaJoie is the son of Norwalk, CT’s Randy Lajoie who won two NASCAR Xfinity Championships.

Justin Alliger came in first in the Xfinity race with Parker Kligerman of Westport, CT took sixth, Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT came in 14th, Kyle Weatherman was 17th, David Starr took 24th with David Everling of LI, NY coming in 33rd. Weatherman and Starr both drive team cars for Cape Cod’s Chris and Mary Our who are residents of Harwich, MA.

NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series to Jumpstart Throwback Weekend at Darlington Raceway

After an adrenaline-charged weekend in Kansas, the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series is set to kickoff Throwback Weekend at Darlington Raceway for the Buckle Up South Carolina 200 on Friday, May 10, at 7:30 p.m. ET on FS1, MRN, and SiriusXM Radio.

The 1.366-mile track has hosted 11 CRAFTSMAN Truck Series races, producing 8 different winners and 7 different pole winners. Two races have been won from the pole or first starting position, most recently by John H. Nemechek in 2022.

NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Returns to Action at Kansas Speedway

After a two-week break, the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series returns to competition this Saturday at Kansas Speedway for the Heart of America 200 (May 4, at 8 p.m. ET on FS1, MRN, and SiriusXM Radio), the eighth race of the 2024 season.

The Kansas Speedway 1.5-mile track has hosted 27 CRAFTSMAN Truck Series races, producing 23 different winners and 18 different pole winners.

Denny Hamlin won the Cup race with Joey Logano of Middletown, CT taking 16th ,Corey LaJoie finished 21st, Boston’s Kaz Grala placed 27th and not so fortunate was Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT who ended up 37th. Lajoie is the son of Randy LaJoie who won Two Xfinity Championships and hails from Norwalk, CT.
Ryan Truex came home the victor of the Xfinity race, Keith Weatherman was eighth, Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT came in ninth, Parker Kligerman of Westport, CT took 12th, David Starr was 26th and Patrick Emerling of LI, NY came in 28th. Weatherman and Starr both drive team cars for Cape Cod’s Chris and Mary Our and reside in Harwich, MA.
Corner Zilsch won the Menard’s ARCA race earlier in the weekend with Gio Ruggiero of Seekonk, MA taking the runner-up spot while Andy Jankowiak of Buffalo, NY took seventh

Kansas Speedway Awaits the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series In Two Weeks

The NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series is taking two weekends off while the Xfinity Series and Cup Series tackle the high banks of Talladega Superspeedway and then head to the concrete oval of Dover Motor Speedway.

The CRAFTSMAN Truck Series will return to competition under the lights at Kansas Speedway for the Heart Of America 200 (Saturday, May 4 at 8 p.m. ET on FS1, MRN, and SiriusXM Radio).
