Haas Factory Team, Cole Custer Announce Two Race Partnership with Autodesk for Homestead-Miami and Sonoma

[KANNAPOLIS, NC] – Haas Factory Team announced Tuesday that Autodesk will serve as the primary sponsor for its No. 41 Ford Mustang and driver Cole Custer for two NASCAR Cup Series races this season.

Autodesk’s 2025 debut will be this weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway, and they will also adorn the hood at Sonoma Raceway (July 13). The company previously sponsored Custer from 2020 to 2022 in the NASCAR Cup Series, and in 2024 in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. (more…)

Bob Pockrass, the Fox Motorsports Insider, posted an article about NASCAR Cup Series driver approval process

LAS VEGAS — When commenting on the NASCAR approval process over the last week, almost every driver added a caveat: It’s not about Katherine Legge.

They said it out of respect for Legge’s lengthy career and racing resume. Those advocating for change after Legge’s two-spin Cup debut at Phoenix a week ago were advocating for it out of respect for their quest to be NASCAR Cup Series champions.

Josh Berry won the NASCAR Cup race.  Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT came in third.  Joey Logano of Middletown, CT placed 15th.

In Saturday’s Xfinity race it was Justin Allgaier  who made it to Victory Lane while Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT finished 18th.  Kris Wright got 25th in Cape Cod’s Chris and Mary Our entry.  Both father and daughter reside in Chatham, MA.

Josh Berry Grabs First NASCAR Cup Series Victory at Las Vegas (Includes Full Results)

LAS VEGAS—Winning an intense battle against Daniel Suárez after a restart with 19 laps left, Josh Berry pulled away to a convincing victory in Sunday’s Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The win was Berry’s first in the NASCAR Cup Series at a track where he won twice in a NASCAR Xfinity Series car. Berry is the fourth straight Wood Brothers Racing driver to pick up his first Cup win in the No. 21 Ford.

Toby Christie’s Joseph Srigley reports that Casey Mears, who hasn’t competed in a NASCAR Cup Series event in more than five years, will return to compete in the March 30 event at Martinsville Speedway. Mears will pilot the No. 66 Ford Mustang Dark Horse for Garage 66.

NASCAR Champion Brings Racing Series to LVMS Dirt Track

NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Larson is one of the sport’s top drivers entering Sunday’s Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The 2021 series champion will also headline another race in Las Vegas, but not at the 1½-mile oval.

Larson is bringing the sprint car racing series he co-owns, High Limit Racing, to the ½-mile dirt track on the LVMS property. The series will take place Thursday and Saturday with racing beginning at 6:30 p.m both nights to open its 2025 season.

It’s the first time a national dirt racing series will race at the LVMS dirt track since 2019.
