NASCAR Cup Series News & Notes – Texas Motor Speedway All-Star Weekend
For the second time in the prestigious event’s history, the NASCAR All-Star race and the NASCAR All-Star Open will take place at Texas Motor Speedway this Sunday, May 22. The NASCAR All-Star Open is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. ET and the main event, the NASCAR All-Star race, will follow at 8 p.m. ET (on FS1, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio) with over a million dollars up for grabs.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series had last weekend off to recharge and will be back at Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday, May 21 at 1:30 p.m. ET for the SRS Distribution 250 on FS1, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

RFK Racing Fan Day Set for Friday, May 27
CONCORD, N.C. (May 17, 2022) – RFK Racing has announced the return of its popular fan day event at its world headquarters in Concord, N.C. on Friday, May 27. The event officially kicks off at 10 a.m., is open to the public and will feature live music, food trucks, partner displays, pit stop demonstrations and racing simulators. In addition, fan day will feature an autograph session with NASCAR Hall of Fame owner Jack Roush and team co-owner Brad Keselowski and Chris Buescher.

Next Gen NASCAR crash tested using robots from AB Dynamics
Alabama, USA, 12th May 2022. Leading automotive test solution supplier AB Dynamics partnered with NASCAR to conduct a driverless, on-track crash test of its Next Gen race car that is running in the 2022 Cup Series. The test vehicle was driven at high speed to a pre-programmed course by driving robots into the banking wall at Talladega Superspeedway. (more…)
