Woodstock, NH — Once again the biggest date on the summer calendar, the Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250 for the invading American-Canadian Tour proved White Mountain Motorsports Park to be New Hampshire’s Favorite Short Track on Saturday. A capacity crowd greeted the White Mountain players in all four divisions as Foley Oil & Propane Late Model heroes made their mark on the ACT crowd while track championship action kept the crowd on their toes all night long. Late Race Pass Earns Justin Brown Riverhead Raceway NASCAR Modified Victory
The NASCAR Modifieds returned to Riverhead Raceway after a mid-summer vacation Saturday, and they did not disappoint with Justin Brown of Manorville perfectly executed a late race pass on Michael Rutkoski of Mattituck to win the 50-lap feature event. The win was made especially sweeter for Brown who had recently lost his ride on the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour.

Todd Owen came up the big winner of the night by taking the lead from Noah Korner on lap-75 of 80 and leading the rest of the way to take home the $5,000 winner’s check which will balloon to over $7,300 with contingency bonuses from the Gambler’s Challenge and track contingency partners added in.
