ACT Returns to Lee USA Speedway This Sunday for New Hampshire Governor’s Cup 150

Barre, VT — Although it will be a grueling third event in just two weeks, American-Canadian Tour officials, fans and teams are excited to return to Lee USA Speedway for the New Hampshire Governor’s Cup 150. The Granite State seacoast oval has played host to the ACT Tour twenty-eight times since 1987 with some of the most iconic stars taking down wins on the quirky circuit. Last time out in 2021, defending ACT Tour champion D.J. Shaw took down his first ever win in North America’s most historic Late Model tour and looks to add his name to the wins list once again. “The World of Joanne Woodward & Paul Newman” to be Exhibited at Lime Rock Park During the Memorial Day Classic

LAKEVILLE, CONN. (15 MAY 2023)- Lime Rock Park (LRP) will celebrate the 37th anniversary of Paul Newman’s historic Trans-Am win with a rare one-day-only exhibit of his racing estate during the Trans Am Memorial Day Classic (May 26-29). Organized by Sotheby’s in advance of “The World of Joanne Woodward and Paul Newman” auction in June, with logistic support from Salisbury Bank, the exhibit is part of a larger celebration of the late actor and racing legend’s life and career.

Ron Silk Wins 51st Annual NAPA Spring Sizzler At Stafford Speedway

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Motor Speedway kicked off its 2023 season with “The Greatest Race in the History of Spring,” the 51st Annual NAPA Spring Sizzler® with Open Modified cars. Ron Silk picked up where he left off in modified competition at Stafford by following up his NAPA Fall Final victory last September with a victory in his NAPA Duel Qualifying Race along with taking the checkered flag in the 51^st Annual NAPA Spring Sizzler.

Third-Place Result for Coby and Mayhew Tools 7NY in Prestigious 51st Annual NAPA Spring Sizzler

STAFFORD, Conn. – Doug Coby wrapped a busy two days at his home track, Stafford Motor Speedway, with a strong third-place finish in the 51st annual NAPA Spring Sizzler on Saturday evening, May 13. Coby finished sixth in Friday’s NAPA Duel qualifying race, placing him just outside the top-10 for the drop of the green flag in Saturday’s 100-lap, $20,000 to win race.

AMA Congratulates 2023 AMA Supercross Champions in Honda Sweep of the Series

PICKERINGTON, Ohio — The AMA presented No. 1 plates at three different AMA Supercross events recently, with Hunter Lawrence becoming the first recipient at the Nashville AMA Supercross round; his brother Jett Lawrence earning his plate at the Denver round; and Chase Sexton being presented with his No. 1 plate on Saturday, May 13, in Salt Lake City at the final event of the season. Feature races were held for the American Canadian Tour, Limited Late Models, and Street Stocks along with two 40-lap NAPA Duel races that set the top-20 lineup for Saturday’s 100-lap NAPA Spring Sizzler® main event.

Shaw Fights Field, Cautions to Take First Stafford ACT Event Since 1985

Stafford Springs, CT — The American-Canadian Tour broke a 38-year drought by entering the Stafford Motor Speedway complex on Friday, the first time the series had raced the iconic 1/2-mile since 1985. Thirty-four teams from across New England and Quebec made the trip to kick off the Brookside Equipment Sales Southern New England Triple Crown and, for many, take their first laps at the Connecticut oval.

Seekonk Speedway Is Off And Racing For The 2023 Season
