(Stafford Springs, CT) — Another new partner is set to join the Stafford Speedway contingency program for the 2022 season. McKinney Construction will provide both a weekly $150 bonus to the winner of the SK Modified® feature and a $125 weekly bonus to the winner of the Late Model feature. Derek Griffith Heads To Martinsville For Second Xfinity Series Start With Sam Hunt Racing

Rising star Derek Griffith is heading to Martinsville Speedway this Friday, April 8, to make his second NASCAR Xfinity Series start with Sam Hunt Racing in the Call 811 Before You Dig 250. Griffith finished 26th in his Xfinity Series debut driving the No. 26 Toyota GR Supra last weekend at Richmond Raceway, gaining crucial experience, which will help him rolling into the tight confines of Martinsville.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series was won by Ty Gibbs with Jeb Burton placing 11th, Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT was 12th, Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT came in 16th, Brett Moffit was 25th and Derek Griffith of Hudson, NH finished 26th  Burton, Alfredo and Moffit all are members of Cape Cod’s Chris and Mary Our’s Xfinity team.  The couple reside in Harwich, MA.
